3rd Annual "Turkey Trot for The Twig" 5k & FunRun
Turkey Trot for the Twig is back in-person this year and it is still all about the Kids!! The event is to benefit children in the foster care system and the programs of The Twig Cares.
A great morning event with something for everyone! Chip-timed 5K with awards. One mile fun run. And a great post-race celebration.
Your 5K race swag includes:
- Custom Twig Turkey Trot finisher medal for ALL 5K finishers!
- Custom Race Bib
- Custom Short-Sleeve Race Shirt. Or upgrade and choose a long-sleeve or ladies' tank style shirt for just $5 more.
One Mile registration does not automatically include a shirt. You can add the shirt of your choice during registration for a nominal additional fee.
Shirt deadline: October 31st. After this date, shirt or sizes are not guaranteed.
*Post Race village includes sponsor vendor booths, smoothie samples provided by Smoothie King, hot breakfast provided by Sharky's On The Pier, and a post run beer provided by Three Bridges Brewing (for those over 21).

5K RUN OR WALK, IN-PERSON: A chip timed 5K race suitable for the entire family with lots of course support from Team Twig race staff.
Your registration includes the custom race shirt by Gulf Breeze Apparel and ALL 5K finishers will get a very cute custom finishers medal.
Awards for the first male & female overall, youth overall (14 & under), masters, grandmasters, senior grandmasters and veteran grandmasters and 3-deep in age groups 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, then 5-year age groups to 80 & over. Price: $35 $25.00 Race Fee + $2.45 SignUp Fee Price increases to $30.00 after July 18, 2021 at 11:59pm EDT
ONE MILE FUN RUN OR WALK, IN-PERSON: We call it a fun "run" but you can run, jog, walk, skip, however you want to finish one mile. No timing, no medals, the one-mile is just for the fun of it and to support the Twig! During registration you can add a shirt for an additional fee. Price: $15.00 Race Fee + $1.87 SignUp Fee
VIRTUAL 5K: If you can't be with us in person but we still want you to be a part of the Turkey Trot for the Twig, do your 5K virtually, you pick the time that fits your schedule during the Virtual 5K window, your choice of course, and you have the opportunity to log your results on RunSignUp for bragging rights. Your Virtual Turkey Trot for the Twig registration fee includes shipping your race shirt and finisher medal to the US address provided during registration. Your Virtual 5K does include a finisher's medal and custom race shirt. Additional fee for shipping will be applied during registration. Price: $36.00 Race Fee + $3.09 SignUp Fee
